Continuing a diverse string of work with the great folks at JCP Event, Øyedrops was asked to brand this years Gulltaggen awards.
The festival aknowledge the best digital communication in Scandinavia the past year in 17 different categories.
The brief was clean and simple: Technology.
We came up with a concept where an idea is born, processed and executed much like Gulltaggen as an initiative and like all the different projects showcased at the festival. The visual style took care of the technology-bit with source codes, pixels and binary all dwelled in a deep data universe. Every layer in tech is wired together from the physical products we experience to all the programming and science behind it.
The package was shown on a 21x7m screen with loud, glitchy and bassed up dystopian electronica.
