We were approaced by Schjærven to develop a new set of TVC templates for sporting goods retailer XXL.
XXL push out a huge amount of new spots every week so the templates had to be very efficient but also adaptable. And on top of that the agency wanted to use video instead of stills for the whole line of products.
So after a quick brief from the creative team we started developing a sports stadium / rock concert hybrid environment where the products of XXL would be the rockstar.
We researched, designed and then animated all the spots and then by feeding the 3D data into a special camera/lighting and turntable rig we got a excact match in compositing. Then all that needed to be done in post was to replace footage and alter the price tag and the spot was TV ready.
